How to Submit Files to Technigraphics…

We accept Adobe Acrobat pdfs for most print work, (Click here for our .joboptions file)

However:

If you are submitting Text only, we accept Microsoft Word 2003 and below, (.doc), Microsoft Works 4.5 and below, (.wps) or a flat text file (.txt). Please use the Times New Roman true type font at 10 point and do not end a line with a carriage return (<Enter>) unless you wish to start a new paragraph in that spot. Do not include your text in the body of an Email. Parsing and removal of Email formatting adds billable time. Please submit as a text file.

If you are submitting Database Files, MS Access 2003 or below (.mdb), MS Works 4.5 or below (.wdb) or DBIII (.dbf) are acceptable.

If you are submitting Halftones or Photos for print, please provide them at 300dpi unless otherwise requested. We accept Photoshop CS (.psd), Corel PhotoPaint X3 (.cpt), or below. We also accept .tif, .gif, & .jpg.

If you are submitting Halftones or Photos for Electronic Media, please provide them at 72dpi unless otherwise requested. We prefer .gif, & .jpg for web work

If you are submitting Illustrations or Line Art, We accept Illustrator CS (.ai) or Corel Draw X3 (.cdr) or below.

If you are submitting Ads or Layouts, We accept InDesign CS, Illustrator CS (.ai), Corel Draw X3 (.cdr), Freehand10, Pagemaker 7, Quark 4.0 and Microsoft Publisher 2003 or below files.   Please submit 2 copies of the file: one with all fonts converted to curves and one with text intact. Also provide a rendering so we know what we are seeing is what you want us to see. In most cases it is required to provide a list of all fonts used, the font files and all images used.

For Vinyl Plotter files, We can accept Corel Draw X3 (.cdr, .cmx), Illustrator CS (.ai) or Flexicut / Flexisign (.fc & .fs) files. Be sure all fonts and objects are converted to curves and provide a rendering.

Technigraphics works in a Windows environment exclusively. You may provide the files on CD, DVD, IBM formatted 1.44Mb Floppy, 100Mb Zip disk, Email files under 5 Mb to jim@techniweb.com, or use our ftp service at ftp.technigraphics.net   Any questions, please contact us before sending.
